Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious: the hand-dived scallop, spider crab toast, fish soup, grilled asparagus, cuttlefish rice, croquetas, and mussels. The seafood was especially outstanding—exceptionally fresh and full of flavor. The quality of the ingredients really shines through, and the cooking is both thoughtful and refined. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into each plate. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates great food, especially seafood lovers. Argoe is truly a gem—definitely worthy of a star. ”

“ Was a little unsure about whether we would enjoy this but it lived up to the hype. The menu was explained well by the friendly waitress, and we ordered lots of small plates and one bigger one, all to share between two. Not one dish missed the mark. Lots of flavour in each. The flatbread with fish roe was amazing, as was the cuttlefish rice and the scallops. The fritto misto was seasoned beautifully with such a light batter. One of the best I've had! I had less than half this amount of fish on a "fritto misto" in Mousehole at almost twice the price. So yeah, highly recommended. Good idea to book, it's a small place. ”

We couldn’t fault it. The staff talked us through all the different fish on offer, some we’d never tried before so that was a great help. 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting the area, not to be missed!
